I've spent 25 years in IT, and most of it as the person who got the call when something broke. About 15 of those years were in corporate pharma, where downtime had a paper trail and change control wasn't optional. Then I spent nearly a decade as the sole IT director for a home services company, building its systems as it grew to more than 800 employees: phones, email, servers, backups, security, all of it.
I started Matano IT to give small businesses that same standard without the enterprise price tag. Flat pricing, written quotes, plain English, and a real person who picks up the phone.
That same work is why the other companies exist. When a job needs a tool that isn't there, or the one that is costs too much and does too little, I build it. Get This Shot collects the photos guests already take. Snapmodo is screenshots and screen recording you pay for once. MailArrive shows whether a domain's email is actually getting through. Useful software, built the same way I run the practice: specific, practical, and meant to be used.
Away from work, I cook and I take photographs.
One form for all four companies. Say which one it is about, and Jason will reply himself.
